Northwestern Vermont • Lakeside Landmark • Fictional Location
Silvermere Lake is a serene glacial lake just outside the small town of Northmere, Vermont. Surrounded by maple groves, birch clusters, and rolling hills, it is most famous for its autumn reflections, when the shoreline erupts in deep reds, golds, and burnished orange. The surface becomes a mirror of the season, still and breathtaking.
The lake is deeply tied to Lucy’s early life. Maren’s Diner keeps a painting of Silvermere Lake on its back wall, a piece Lucy has stared at since childhood. It represents home, calm, and the steady rhythm of Northmere living.
Locals visit the lake for small town traditions: summer picnics, fall foliage walks, quiet winter mornings with mist curling off the water. Though the world around it changes, Silvermere Lake remains constant.
Note: Silvermere Lake is a fictional location created for the Lucy Pendragon series.
